Intermediate to Advanced Skate Technique Course
If you have the basics of skate skiing down, can ski at least 5 kilometers without trouble, and are looking to add even more glide, speed, and strength to your time on the track, you’ve come to the right spot. Our professional instructors are a great resource for taking your skate skiing up a notch. This season, we are offering the first session to all adults, and the second session as a ladies-only clinic. Both sessions will include drills, tempo work, and refining V1, V2, and V2 alternate technique. These sessions are perfect for intermediate skiers who are ready to challenge themselves more in the sport.
This lesson is led by former U.S. Cross Country Ski Team Member and 2x National Champion, Morgan Smyth. In addition to her racing background, Morgan has coached full time for 5 years, instructed at the White Pine Nordic Center for five seasons, and is a USSA Level 200 Coach. When she isn’t on skis, Morgan works as a Physical Therapist Assistant and enjoys mountain biking with her husband and two dogs.
