Yurt CampingYurt CampingYurt Camping  Yurt Camping

Round, vaguely Mongolian, and a unique way to camp. Our yurt is available for nightly rental year-round. Located in the Uinta Mountains next to Castle Peak in and approximately 30 miles from Park City, you can drive to it in the summer and ski to it in the winter. It sleeps 8 people in bunk beds equipped with mattresses. Please bring your own sleeping bags/bedding. It's primitive. There's no plumbing or electricity, so you get to use a lantern and a wood-fired stove as well as an outhouse. But for outdoor enthusiasts, it's a great outing with family and friends.

Guide Service to Yurt
Summer: Our guide will lead you on the short hike to the yurt and orient you.

We will give you instructions on how to get there and the functions of the yurt and the rest of the experience is up to you! This option is for the experienced outdoors person.
In the summer months, you can drive near to the yurt on the Upper Setting road. It's a great place to gather for birthday celebrations, family overnights, or an evening bar-b-que. Please call us at 435-649-8710 for more information or to book your yurt adventure.
